Who Does Telehealth Benefit?

  • Children with difficulty using a sippy cup

  • Children who have difficulty with eating; “problem eaters” (limited food repertoire, difficulty with texture progression, transitioning off g-tube)

  • A child that has difficulty completing daily tasks such as: Self-feeding with utensils (fork, spoon)

  • Drinking from a sippy cup or open cup

  • Completing dressing routine (socks, shoes, shirt, pants)

  • Participating in toileting or hygiene tasks

  • Difficulty with age appropriate play skills whether with using toys appropriately or playing with others

  • Difficulty with fine motor skills; coloring, stacking blocks, turning pages in books, fastening buttons, zippers, hooks, etc.

  • Children who have difficulty with self-regulation due sensory processing deficits to participate in daily activities (i.e. difficulty with sustaining attention due constantly feeling the need to move)
